Gay is not a synonym for bad

I hate how some people use "gay" as a synonym for any negative word. I know, they most of the time are not trying to insult the homosexual community, but it really bugs me XD.

I actually have a few gay friends that use the word "gay" as a synonym for a negative word. I don't mind that so much XD but still in California I hear "that is soooo gay!" "you are gay!" "that was gay!" DAILY it pisses me off hahahaha XD
